Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy for people (13+) across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Quebec, and Ontario.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or a specific challenge. Others find themselves noticing the same patterns repeating in their lives and want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the ways they move through the world.
I tend to work particularly well with people who are curious about themselves, interested in personal growth, and open to exploring new perspectives. Many of my clients are looking not only for symptom relief, but also for a deeper understanding of themselves and more fulfilling ways of relating to others.
Common areas I work with include:
- Anxiety and stress
- Relationship and communication difficulties
- Life transitions
- Self-esteem and self-criticism
- Emotional awareness and expression
- Interpersonal concerns
- Identity exploration
- Personal growth and self-understanding
Gender-Affirming Care
I provide gender-affirming assessments and documentation in accordance with current standards of care.
Services include:
- Gender-affirming surgery readiness assessments
- Letters of assessment and surgical referral documentation*
- Support throughout gender exploration and transition
- Consultation regarding gender-affirming care pathways
I aim to provide an affirming, respectful, and collaborative process that recognizes each person’s unique relationship with their identity and goals. If you are unsure whether I can assist with your specific needs, I welcome you to reach out.
